Based on accurate drawings of a real 1962 Jazz Bass, these templates are designed to help you build your own bass with a clear, full-size reference for the important layout and routing stages.
The templates are CNC-cut from 12 mm MDF by luthier David Fletcher in Wollongong. David only sells templates that he has modelled and built himself, with neck pockets designed for the close, tidy fit you want in a finished guitar.
Centre lines are included on the body and neck templates, with nut and fret locations clearly marked. The front arm-cut and rear tummy-cut locations are also marked, and the set includes back-profile templates for shaping the neck at the 1st and 12th frets.
