These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from Fletcher Handcrafted Guitars through our online store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law.

Products

We aim to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible.

Many of our products are manufactured from wood and other natural materials. Variations in colour, grain, figure and appearance are normal characteristics of natural timber and are not considered defects.

Dimensions and specifications shown on product pages are intended to describe the product supplied. Minor manufacturing variations may occur where they do not materially affect the intended use of the product.

Orders and Payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed by the online store.

An order is accepted when payment has been successfully processed and the order has been confirmed.

We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order if a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred, or we are unable to fulfil the order.

Shipping

Orders are shipped to the delivery address supplied by the customer. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their delivery details are correct.

Estimated delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by postal services, customs processing and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

International Orders, Import Taxes and Duties

International customers are responsible for any import duties, VAT, taxes, customs charges, brokerage or clearance fees imposed by their destination country, unless the checkout specifically states that such charges have been collected in advance.

Fletcher Handcrafted Guitars is not responsible for these charges.

Returns and Consumer Rights

Our products come with rights and guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law where that law applies.

We are not required under Australian Consumer Law to provide a refund or exchange simply because a customer changes their mind. This does not affect a customer's rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, materially different from their description, or otherwise fail to meet applicable consumer guarantees.

Customers in other jurisdictions, including the European Union, may have additional statutory rights such as rights of withdrawal or cancellation for eligible online purchases. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude those rights.

Wood Products and Natural Variation

Timber is a natural material. Grain, colour, figure, mineral streaks and other natural characteristics vary from piece to piece. Photographs are intended to represent the product as accurately as reasonably possible, but appearance may vary with lighting, displays and the individual piece of timber.

For individually photographed timber products, such as particular figured maple caps, we will supply the specific item identified in the product listing where the listing states that the item pictured is the item being sold.

Use of Products

Our guitar-building templates, components and related products are intended for guitar construction and woodworking.

The customer is responsible for determining that a product is suitable for their particular project, tools, equipment and level of experience.

Fletcher Handcrafted Guitars is not responsible for damage resulting from improper use, incorrect machining, modification, installation, handling or use contrary to the product's intended purpose.

Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of our website, including original photographs, graphics, text, product descriptions, template designs and other original material, is owned by or licensed to Fletcher Handcrafted Guitars and may not be reproduced or commercially distributed without permission, except as permitted by law.

Purchase of a physical template or component does not transfer ownership of our website content, digital files, drawings or other intellectual property.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fletcher Handcrafted Guitars is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from misuse of our products or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The Terms & Conditions applying to an order are those in effect when the order is placed, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in New South Wales, Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply to a customer's purchase in their country or jurisdiction.
